Fr. Richard B. Prodehl, age 87. Ordained May 28, 1966, at rest January 11, 2026. Cherished son of the late Bernard and Rose Prodehl. Devoted brother of the late Donald (the late Joan) Prodehl. Loving uncle of Mary Jo (Peter) Hollingsworth, Lori Prodehl and Donald (Carolyn) Prodehl. Great-uncle of Kelly, Kati and Nicholas Hollingsworth, Kristin, Travis and Hunter Jensen, Jena and Drew Prodehl.

Visitation Monday, January 19, 3:00pm to 8:00pm at St. Bernard Catholic Church; 13030 W. 143rd St, Homer Glen, with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm.

Visitation will resume Tuesday, January 20, 10:00am until time of Mass, 11:00am at St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.

Father Dick was an associate pastor at St. John the Apostle Church in Villa Park, teacher and counselor at Montini Catholic High School, pastor at St. Luke’s Church in Carol Stream and longtime pastor at St. Bernard Church in Homer Glen. In retirement, Father helped out at St. Ambrose and St. Anne Church in Crest Hill.
