Bradley J. Sterrett, 45, was found dead Wednesday, April 23, 2003 in his apartment, the victim of a homicide. He was born Oct. 25, 1957, in Beloit to Raymond L. and Mary Rose (Comeau) Sterrett. He grew up in Norton, graduating from Fort Hays State University and North American College, Rome, Italy. He was ordained into the priesthood and served Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays. He took a leave of absence from the priesthood in 1997 and was gifts officer for Boston University. Survivors include his mother, Cape Girardeau, Mo.; four brothers, Patrick, Dubuque, Iowa, Michael, Overland Park, Jack, Cape Girardeau, and Tim, Kansas city, Mo. He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be at 11:a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Norton; burial in Norton Cemetery.
