KELLY Henry Edward, age 56, of Yukon, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 1991. He was born Nov. 18, 1934 at St. Anthony Hospital, OKC, Ok. He was a retired Professor of Sociology from Tulsa University. He attended seminarian schools at St. Johns, Little Rock, Ar., and North American College of Rome. In 1959, he was ordained a Catholic priest. His parishes included Our Ladys Cathedral, OKC, and St. Josephs Catholic Church, Norman, where he worked on the first Ministerial Alliance between Catholic and protestant faiths.

Afterwards, he was transfered to Tulsa where he worked and was fond of the experimental church called Community of the Living Christ.

He retired and moved to Texas University where he received his PhD in Sociology. He moved to Tulsa University and taught as a professor there from 1970 to 1976. Due to a lengthy illness, he moved to Yukon, Ok. He married Jan on Sept. 8, 1984. He is survived by his wife, Janette Fitzgerald Kelly of the home; his mother, May Kelly Gemme, a long-time resident of Yukon, now living in Claremont, Ca.; a brother, John Kelly of Philadelphia, Pa.; 2 sisters, Mary Evelyn Roberts, Claremont, Ca. and Kathleen Dunn of Kansas City, Mo. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Yukon Literacy Council, 314 Elm, Yukon, Ok. 73099. Memorial services are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Mustang, Ok.
