FR. ALFRED H. WINTERS, age 78, Pastor Emeritus, St Clement Parish, Lakewood. Beloved son of the late Alfred A. and Ruth (nee Hageman); loving brother of the late Mary Kathryn Chanon (James E.); dear uncle of Ann M. Chanon. Fr. Winters served in the Diocese of Cleveland over 53 years beginning at Holy Rosary Church Cleveland, St. John College, St. Leo the Great, Cleveland, Secretary of Parish Life and Development, The Office for Propagation of the Faith and served as Pastor of St. Clement Parish Lakewood, and in his retirement, Father spent seven satisfying years serving the wonderful people of Ennis Court in Lakewood. Passed away Saturday November 7, 2015. Funeral Mass, St. Clement Church (Lincoln and Madison Aves., Lakewood Wednesday November 11 at 11:00 am. Most Reverend Richard G. Lennon, Bishop of Cleveland, Principal Celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, November 10 at St. Clement Church where Vespers will be held at 3:00 pm and a visitation following until 8:00 pm.
