Rev. Peter Brendan Lawless, died Monday, October 14, 2013, at Mercy Skilled Center in St. Louis, Mo. He was ordained at St. Kierians College, Kilkenny Ireland on June 7, 1964; fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. He was the dear son of the late Barney and Mary (nee Jennings) Lawless and brother of the late Brian and Tommy (Margaret) Lawless; much loved uncle of Susan Lawless of the Lawless and Kelly family circles, County Armagh, Ireland; and dearest friend of Ed and Mary (nee Malone) Hartman and Terrel and Vickey Dempsey. Father Lawless served as Pastor in several parishes in the Jefferson City Diocese and served as Chaplain for the Ancient Order of Hibernians of St. Louis. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 404 S. 1st Street, Owensville, MO 65066. Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
