Rev. Charles V. Fanelli, 79, passed away July 17, 2024. Retired former pastor of St. John Vianney, Northlake, IL (1985 – 2004) and St. Thomas More Church, Chicago, IL (2004 – 2015), Director of Pro-Life Office for the Archdiocese of Chicago (1976 – 1985), Chaplain of the Italian Catholic Federation, Board member emeritus of the World Apostolate of Fatima. Cherished son of the late Armando and Luigina (nee Scatena) Fanelli; Loving brother of Joseph C. (the late Janice) Fanelli and the late Theresa, John and Corinne Fanelli; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and former parishioners. A funeral mass was celebrated at Villa Scalabrini Chapel, Northlake, IL. Entombment was private at St. Casmir Cemetery, Chicago, IL. Arrangements entrusted to Curley Funeral Home.
