The Diocese of Paisley with great sadness announces the sudden death of Father Jim Byers, Parish Priest of St Bernadette’s, Erskine.
Father Jim’s remains will be received into St. Bernadette’s, Erskine at 6pm on Tuesday 3rd June 2014, with the Vigil Prayers for the Dead and Evening Prayer from the Divine Office.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mirin’s Cathedral at 12noon on Wednesday 4th June 2014, followed by burial at St. Conval’s Cemetery, Barrhead at approximately 2pm. requiescat in pace
