Kane Rev. Joseph M. Dec. 9, 2018 a kind and compassionate Priest of the Archdiocese of Boston, at the Regina Cleri, Boston, Born in Norwood Aug. 1, 1944. Ordained May 23, 1970 in the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.

Fr. Kane served in Parish’s St Thomas Aquinas J.P., St. Mary’s Franklin, St. Gregory’s Dorchester and beloved and caring Chaplin of the Marian Manor since 1979.

Beloved Son of The late Martin D. and Barbara (Lydon) Kane. Brother of the Late Francis P. Kane, Martin J., and Donald D. Kane. Devoted Uncle of 16 Nieces and Nephews, 24 Grandnieces and nephews and 4 Great Grandnieces and Nephews.

Relatives and Friends kindly invited to honor Fr. Joe with visitation in the Regina Cleri residence 60 Wm. Cardinal O’Connell Way Boston on Thursday from 2-4 Pm. Also Thursday visitation at the Marian Manor 130 Dorchester St. South Boston from 5 PM – 6 PM with a Funeral Mass at 6 PM. Fr. Kane will lay in state in St. Catherine’s Church 547 Washington St. Norwood on Friday from 10 – 11 AM. Concelebrated Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM principal celebrant to be Cardinal Sean O’Malley Archbishop of Boston.” We can never show our dear Elderly and Infirmed too much kindness and love”.Interment Highland cemetery, Norwood.
