On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, our beloved priest, pastor and friend, Fr. Lonachan Arouje passed from this life into the loving hands of our merciful savior.

Fr. Lonachan was ordained on October 28, 1970 in India, and came to the Diocese of Stockton in May 1989. Over the course of his many fruitful years of priestly service, Fr. Lonachan served in St. Patrick’s Parish, All Saints University Parish, St. Stanislau Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, St. Frances of Rome, and St. Andrew Parish. In each of these assignments, Father loved the people he served, and will be deeply missed by all.

Father Lonachan’s funeral will be celebrated March 31, 2023 in Turlock at All Saints University Parish. Please join the family in praying for this beloved priest.

A visitation for Lonachan will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at All Saints University Parish, 4040 McKenna Dr, Turlock, CA 95382. A vigil will occur Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 5:00 PM, 4040 McKenna Dr, Turlock, CA 95382. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Friday, March 31, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 4040 McKenna Dr, Turlock, CA 95382.
