MULLEN, REV. MSGR. EDWARD F. of Stratford, NJ. Died on April 11, 2004, Easter Sunday, at the age of 75 years.

Msgr. Mullen is survived by several nieces and nephews. Monsignor was born in Philadelphia and attended St. Charles College, St. Mary’s Seminary, and Catholic University. Ordained in 1954 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Camden, he would have celebrated his 50th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood in May. Retired in 2002, Monsignor served as Pastor of Our Lady of the Angels, Cape May Court House, Our Lady of Victories, Landisville, St. Francis de Sales, Barrington, Christ the King, Haddonfield, and St. Augustine, Ocean City in addition to many other positions in the Diocese.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday April 15, 2004 2:00-7:45PM at St. Luke R.C. Church Warwick Rd. Stratford. At 8:00PM Rev. Msgr. Joseph Pokusa, Chancellor of the Diocese of Camden will celebrate the Mass of Jesus Christ, the High Priest. Homilist will be Rev. James J. Durkin, Pastor of St. Luke Parish. There will also be a viewing Friday April 16, 2004 8:30-10:45AM at St. Luke’s. Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. Morgan, Diocesan Administrator will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Homilist will be Rev. Msgr. John J. Clark. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Mays Landing with Funeral Liturgy at 2:30PM in the main mausoleum.
