Rev. Msgr. James Peter died on March 3, 2009. Pastor St. Andrew Avellino RC Church, Flushing, N.Y. Former president of Cathedral College, Immaculate Conception Seminary, Douglaston, N.Y. Devoted son of the late Edward and the late Mary (nee Dunn). Survived by his loving sisters Margaret White and her husband Jack, the late Mary D’Alessandro and husband Dr. Frank, Winifred Grace and Richard Freda, Susan Woolsey and her husband David, his brother Edward and his wife Susan. Proud uncle of 13 nieces and nephews, and 17 grand nieces and nephews. Reposing at Martin A. Gleason Funeral Home 149-20 Northern Blvd. Flushing, N.Y. Thursday 5-8pm only and Friday 1-4pm only. Vigil Mass Friday 7:30pm at St. Andrew Avellino RC Church, Northern Blvd. and 158th St. Flushing, N.Y. Funeral Mass Saturday 11am Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
