Rev. Msgr. James O. Sheerin, 85 , of Rutherford, N.J., and Toms River, N.J., passed away on Oct. 15, 2015. Mass is today for the Air Force chaplain in Vietnam, retired pastor of St. Margaret of Cortona in Little Ferry.  Visitation was held at St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church, 31 Chamberlain Ave., Little Ferry, N.J., on Wednesday followed by a Vigil Prayer Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Arrangements are under the supervision of the Macagna.
