Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. Tewes, died on On April 30, 2022. Pastor Emeritus of Our Lady of Hope Church, Dundalk, the beloved son of the late Linton Omar and Anne Agnes (Burke) Tewes; loving brother of Margaret Fullem and the late Anne Moyer, John L. Tewes, and William Paul Tewes; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Msgr. Tewes will lie-in-state at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Govans on Thursday, May 5th from 3 to 8 PM where a Christian wake service will be held at 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop William E. Lori at St. Mary’s on Friday, May 6th at 10 AM. Interment at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Msgr. Tewes’ memory may be made to Stella Maris; 2300 Dulaney Valley Rd.; Timonium, MD 21093.
