Rev. Richard J. Mehm

Rev. Monsignor Richard J. Mehm, 66, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Malden, passed away on January 28, 2015. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Hughes) Mehm. The dear brother of Joseph Mehm of Lancaster, Pa. and the late Ann Castignoli and Walter Mehm. The loving uncle of Cheryl Castignoli of Lowell, Diane Eggert of South Carolina, Karen Butkovich of Andover, Erika Hines of North Carolina, Allison Murphy of Needham and Ryan Mehm of Washington, D.C. He is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews. Monsignor Mehm will lie in state at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, on Monday Feb. 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday February 3, at 11 a.m. Services will conclude with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lynn.
