REV. ROBERT WYZGOSKI

ROBERT F. WYZGOSKI, age 73, died peacefully at home in Bloomfield Hills, on December 30, 2006. He was born May 2, 1933, in Pontiac, Michigan.

Loving son of the late John J. and Agnes A. Dear brother of Evelyn P. Stockman (Ken), Joan A. Kline (Jim) and the late Bernard C. Wyzgoski and Lorraine G. Sullivan. Also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wyzgoski was the former pastor of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Beverly Hills, Michigan.

He attended Sacred Heart Seminary High School and College in Detroit, Sts. Cyril and Methodius Seminary in Orchard Lake and St. John's Provincial Seminary in Plymouth.

He was ordained June 6, 1959 at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and celebrated his first Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Pontiac.

He served as assistant pastor of St. Benedict, Waterford (1959-61); Our Lady Queen of Peace, Harper Woods (1961-66); and St. Christopher, Detroit (1966-72). He served as Pastor at St. Suzanne, Detroit (1972-84); and St. Veronica, Eastpoint (1984-96) and lastly at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs beginning July 28, 1996.

Family will receive friends Thursday, January 7, 2007, from 2-9 PM at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road (between Maple & Big Beaver), with an evening rosary Service at 7 PM.

Funeral Mass Friday, January 5, 2007 - 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 32340 Pierce, Beverly Hills. Visitation at church begins at 10 AM.

Rite of Committal Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan.
