Father Thomas Royer, 88, of Urbana, a longtime priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Champaign, passed away on January 4, 2024 at Accolade Healthcare of Savoy.

According to his wishes, cremation rites will be arranged, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Illiana Cremation Society, 309 E. Washington St., Hoopeston, is in charge of arrangements.
