GATTARI REVEREND VALENTINE Age 86 passed away September 24, 2014. Beloved son of the late Henry and Maria. Loving brother of the late Remo (Rosemarie), Gino (Beverly), the late Gloria (the late Frank) Resch. Dear uncle of 14 nieces and nephews and 20 grand nieces and nephews. Father Val was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on June 5th, 1954, he retired in 1998. Since his retirement Fr. Val was very active in several parishes and senior retirement homes. Visitation will take place Friday from 2p.m. until 9 p.m. at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 41233 Ryan Rd., Sterling Heights, (N. of 18 Mile). Recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 p.m. Prayer services will be held on the hour from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday in state 10 a.m. with Mass at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
