Fr. William J. Fay, age 84, of Gibsonia, died peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 14, 2024 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 16, 1939, beloved son of the late William and Louise Groetsch Fay. Loving brother of Barbara Thompson (George), Colleen Fay (Robert Corace), Gretchen Fay, and the late Patrick Fay (Carolyn). Dear uncle of Colleen Shannon (Kevin), Barbara Turkovich (AJ), and Patrick Fay, Jr. Great-uncle of Kieran & Riley Shannon and Leah & Ethan Turkovich.

Friends received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Richard Church, Sts. Martha and Mary Parish. Committal prayers will be held following mass in the chapel of Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery. Private interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
