 REVEREND WILLIAM J. MARCOTTE Age 79, of Colton, passed away on February 12, 2010, at the Nazareth House in San Diego. Rev. Marcotte attended primary and secondary schools in Illinois. He attended St. John’sUniversityinMinnesota, Immaculate Heart Seminary in San Diego,North American College in Vatican City and Gregorian University in Rome. He was Ordained on December 18, 1960, at the North American College in Vatican City for the Diocese of San Diego. While serving the Diocese of San Bernardino he served at Aquinas High School and Our Lady of Fatima San Bernardino, Our Lady of Soledad in Coachella, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Rancho Cucamonga, Our Lady of Light in Descanso, St. David in Apple Valley, St. Christopher of the Desert in Joshua Tree, St. Joseph the Worker in Loma Linda, Chaplain of Loma Linda Hospital, Sacred Heart in Palm Desert and up until his retirement in July of 2002 he was the Chaplain at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 24, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. at San Secondo d’Asti,250 N. Turner Ave.,Ontario. The Mass of the Resurrection will be on Thursday, February 25 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral,2525 N. Arrowhead Ave.,San Bernardino.
