Very Rev. Richard J. Whetstone, 72, of Uniontown, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015. He was born June 15, 1943, in Warren, Ohio. He was a son of the late James A. and Marguerite (Chicase) Whetstone Sr. He was a veteran of the Army. He will be remembered for his service at St. Steven Byzantine Catholic Church in North Huntingdon and St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Herminie from 1992-1995. He continued to serve at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Uniontown from 1995-2001. He is survived by three brothers and one sister.
